Saturday Night Live did a hilarious portrayal of Coach Prime 10 days ago, and he finally had a chance to respond when asked about it on Tuesday.
The Buffs are coming off a bye, so their was no press conference for Deion Sanders last week.
First, if you missed the skit, here it is. SNL veteran Kenan Thompson joined Colin Jost on the “Weekend Update” desk and delivered in a big way. There are so many good nuggets in here, you just have to take it in for yourself.

There’s plenty in there to have a good laugh at. It’s really well done.
So, after getting all the football questions about this weekend’s opponent UCLA out of the way, the SNL skit came up. And Coach Prime handled it like a good sport.
“I’m a fan of Kenan, let’s just get that straight. I love him, I love what he’s brought to comedy. It’s got to be over a couple of decades now. I had the pleasure and honor to host Saturday Night Live before and I will never forget those moments. It was good,” Prime said.
The portrayal has nearly five million views on Twitter alone, and has gone viral on platforms like Facebook and YouTube as well. And even though Prime is being mocked in a playful way, it’s still a win for him and the program.
The 4-3 Buffs remain squarely in the national spotlight, despite a brutal 2OT loss their last time out.
