Be a Mentor, Be a Fan is a Denver Sports campaign to raise awareness on the importance of mentorship. We’re proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, encouraging our incredible audience to get involved as a mentor.

Mentorship is one of the most effective ways to positively impact the lives of children in our community. Whether that’s becoming a “Big” through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, or getting involved in other avenues like coaching youth sports; mentorship is not only invaluable to the mentee, but incredibly rewarding to the mentor as well.

Mentorship and sports go hand-in-hand. Every successful athlete has stories of the teachers, coaches, siblings and friends who helped mentor them along the way. Denver Sports is proud to air Be a Mentor, Be a Fan every Saturday morning at 8:30am on 104.3 The Fan, DenverSports.com and the Denver Sports App – allowing the Denver Sports audience to hear some of these incredible stories of mentorship from members of the Denver Sports team and other special guests.
