Bold predictions have Rodgers leading Broncos to the playoffs

A bold prediction has been given to the Denver Broncos’ upcoming season — one that might excite all of Broncos Country.

NFL writer Adam Schein recently wrote an article making predictions for the 2021 season and believes that not only the Broncos will get Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback, but that he will push them on a deep playoff run.

Rodgers’ recent interview with ESPN’s Kenny Mayne showed that no resolutions have come between Rodgers and the Packers.

Instead of acquiring more weapons for Rodgers, Green Bay traded up to draft a “replacement” in Jordan Love.

Whatever plan general manager Brian Gutekunst had was surely turned upside-down when Rodgers won his third MVP award.

Schein wrote that everything leading up to Rodgers missing OTAs for the first time in his career is a sign, a sign that could be pointing to Denver.

“Gutekunst, team president Mark Murphy and the front-office folks. Those people aren’t changing. It’s over. It’s been over,” Schein wrote. “Go back and listen to Rodgers’ press conference following the Championship Sunday loss to Tampa Bay. He basically said goodbye. It’s significant he isn’t at OTAs for the first time in his career.”

Denver has a talented roster that could lead to Rodgers winning immediately, which Schein says is key.

“Rodgers is the most talented quarterback ever, fresh off his best season ever, so he won’t come cheap. Three first-rounders and OLB Bradley Chubb is the starting point of a potential trade,” Schein wrote. “But man, just think of this quarterback with this roster. The Broncos would surround the 37-year-old with explosive playmakers in the passing game.”

Rodgers to the Broncos would be a much-needed shift to the organization.

Could Denver finally keep up with the Kansas City Chiefs? Could Vic Fangio end his winless-September streak?

Of course no one knows the answer, but it sure is fun to speculate.

“I would still call Kansas City “the team to beat” in the AFC West and AFC, but I’d put a Rodgers-led Broncos team up with anyone else in the loaded conference,” Schein wrote. “Denver would be right in the mix with a Bills squad that’s beginning to look like a juggernaut, an emerging Browns team thinking Super Bowl, the always-in-the-conversation Ravens and the ready-to-rumble Colts. And come January, are you betting against Mr. Rodgers.”
