DMac and Tyler kicked off the show talking about their latest video battles. DMac reacted to Mike Evans’ comments about the backup quarterback position. In the water cooler, the fellas discussed the possibility of Peyton Manning and Tom Brady teaming up with Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson in a charity round of golf. Closing out the hour, we go behind the scenes at Vic Fangio’s office where he watches film to prepare for the draft.
In Football at Four, the guys discussed how draft prospects look on film compared to how they are in person. Tyler says if Paxton Lynch was in this draft class he would have been a top 10 pick because none of the teams wouldn’t have been able to meet with him in person. DMac asked Tyler why he thinks teams miss on prospects during the draft process. Our very own Mark Schlereth joined the show and talked about the little things he can notice when watching film and evaluating draft prospects. Mark mentioned what the red flag was on Paxton Lynch. What offensive tackle is the number one player in this draft according to a coach Schlereth has spoken to? DMac and Tyler started looking back to the 2012 Broncos season as Peyton Manning’s first season in Denver. Tyler gave his most memorable moments of Peyton in the 2015 season.
Troy Renck joined the show and reflected on how important it was when Peyton Manning joined the Broncos in 2012. Troy talked about how loud the stadium was when Peyton and Tyler came into the game against the Chargers in week 17. The guys continued to reflect on Tyler’s memories of playing with Peyton Manning even in the Super Bowl.
