Broncos Injury Report: Relatively healthy for the Raiders in Week 1

At no point in a season is an NFL team completely healthy, but the closest they’ll to reaching that ideal scenario is heading into Week 1. Save for some bumps and bruises that linger from training camp and the preseason, teams are typically well-rested and healthy.

Such is the case for the Broncos this season, as they get ready to head to Oakland to take on the Raiders. In their season opener, Denver will be relatively healthy for their 2019 debut.

Here’s who was listed on the Broncos official injury report as of Thursday, Sept. 5:

TODD DAVIS (ILB)
Injury – Calf
Status – Did Not Participate
Note – Davis was injured on the first day of training camp and has yet to return to practice, making his availability for Monday night’s opener in doubt

ANDY JANOVICH (FB)
Injury – Pectoral
Status – Did Not Participate
Note – The Broncos starting fullback will not play against the Raiders, as he’s expected to miss the first three to four weeks of the regular season

JOSEPH JONES (ILB)
Injury – Tricep
Status – Did Not Participate
Note – Injured in the Broncos preseason opener, Jones has yet to return to practice

BRYCE CALLAHAN (CB)
Injury – Foot
Status – Limited
Note – Callahan continues to recover from an injury suffered during the Broncos practice at the stadium in mid-August

TREY MARSHALL (S)
Injury – Neck
Status – Limited
Note – The backup safety was injured late in training camp, putting his availability for the season opener in question
