Projecting the Broncos final 53-man roster – Version 1.0

Mercifully, the end of the preseason is near. After what feels like months and months of training camp practices and meaningless exhibitions, the Broncos are only three days away from playing their fifth and final tune-up game.
As soon as that finale comes and goes on Thursday night, Denver will turn its attention toward the regular season. And the first task in getting prepped for the opener at Oakland on Sept. 9 is finalizing the team’s roster.
That process already began today, as the Broncos released a pair of veteran defensive players that many thought would make the team. Defensive lineman Zach Kerr and linebacker Dekoda Watson were let go on Monday morning.
Between now and this weekend, Denver will have to cut 35 more players (or 37 if they fill the spots vacated by Kerr and Watson) in order to get down to the league-mandated 53-man roster. Who will make it?
