ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Andrew Beck returned to the practice field Tuesday as the Broncos held a walk-through, “hat-day” session to begin preparations for their Week 12 game against the Carolina Panthers.
Beck, who injured his hamstring in practice on Nov. 10, was considered “day-to-day” heading into this week. He missed two games as a result of the injury. Eric Saubert filled in for Beck on the snaps when the Broncos used a fullback.
While Beck returned to practice, wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler remain sidelined. Jeudy has not practiced since suffering an ankle injury on the first play of the Nov. 13 loss at Tennessee. He remains “day-to-day,” per Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett.
Hamler suffered his hamstring injury one day before Beck. He has not practiced since then.
“All those guys, right now they’re day-to-day. We’re just working through it all with them,” Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett said. “We’d love to have them out there.”
The Broncos would love to have RB Chase Edmonds, but they placed him on injured reserve Tuesday. Edmonds suffered a high-ankle sprain in the first half of Sunday’s loss to Las Vegas.
Cornerback K’Waun Williams and defensive lineman Jonathan Harris also remain sidelined. Each suffered multi-week injuries in the last two games.
Denver will not issue an official injury report Tuesday because it is only a walk-through. The team’s first official injury report comes Wednesday.
