Bones Hyland is following up a great rookie year, following it up with a very loud summer.
Recently, Hyland went off in a Pro-Am game, making some beautiful new highlights. On Sunday, a video surfaced of the 21-year-old at the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League (AEBL) Pro & Youth Summer League. Hyland was caught exchanging words and shoves with former Nuggets guard Brandon Goodwin. The two never shared the court in Denver but did play against one another last year when Goodwin was in Cleveland.

The highlights of the two guards going at each other are a fun watch. Goodwin is still under a two-way contract with the Cavaliers after spending the first few years of his pro career bouncing around. Goodwin debuted as a Nugget and has played 133 NBA games. In those games, he’s totaled 628 points; Hylandnotched 698 in 69 games during his rookie season.
Brandon Goodwin was a dawg on both ends of the floor at @AEBLHOOPS Pro-Am last night, and gave Bones Hyland a proper welcome to the ATL 🔥🔥@goodysav x @BizzyBones11#AEBL10 #EarnYourName pic.twitter.com/00HU0TcmM4

Hyland and the Nuggets will be back in action soon. His role will be elevated with Barton and Monte Morris shipped out to the Wizards. Hyland is slotted in as the backup point guard and sixth man, likely to get way more than the two starts he earned last season. Hyland would slide into the starting five on maintenance nights for Jamal Murray, who is coming off of an ACL injury and missed all last season.
