The next debate in Broncos Country could be over bourbon

With the quarterback competition complete, the next debate for Broncos Country might just be over bourbon.

This week, the Denver Broncos and Breckenridge Distillery unveiled two limited-edition bourbon blends — in orange and blue labels — in honor of being named the official hometown bourbon of the team.

“We are thrilled to partner with Colorado-based Breckenridge Distillery and their highly-awarded Breckenridge Bourbon Whiskey to become the team’s official hometown bourbon,” said Brady Kellogg, Broncos senior vice president of corporate partnerships, in a release. “Fans are able to support a local business while enjoying an elevated craft cocktail experience, whether that be on Broncos game days or in their homes.”

The Champions Blend, the first such release in the series, is available now and features orange and blue blends encased in limited-edition Broncos-branded bottles.

Fans 21 and older can vote for their favorite blend by scanning the QR code on the label, which enters them for a chance to win prizes.

“Breckenridge Distillery is having a blast being the hometown bourbon whiskey of the Denver Broncos,” said Bryan Nolt, Breckenridge Distillery founder and CEO. “We’ve created two limited release Bourbon blends for Broncos fans and can’t wait to see if they pick the orange or blue blend as their favorite. Cheers, Colorado.”

A group of Broncos legends, Broncos cheerleader alumni and super fans came together to compete in a blending battle, with a blue and orange team facing off against each other.
