Barbecue enthusiasts rejoice, as the Denver BBQ Festival is set to return to the shadows of Empower Field at Mile High this fall.

Eximius Productions announced on Thursday that the 2021 edition of the festival would return Sept. 17-19, bringing together pitmasters from Denver and around the U.S. to serve award-winning BBQ.

“The Denver BBQ Fest is a celebration of award-winning BBQ,” said Chuck Olney, director of business development of Empower Field at Mile High. “We’re bringing the best pit masters from right here in Denver and around the country to our backyard at Empower Field at Mile High for everyone to enjoy.”

Admission to the festival is free, which kicks off Friday at 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Attendees can enjoy cold drinks, barbecue tutorials and demonstrations, live music and games and activities.

Those who wish to skip the lines can purchase VIP passes and all-you-can-eat- pit passes in advance.
