Drew Lock ranked worst starting quarterback in the NFL

Pro Football Focus has released a ranking of all 32 starting quarterbacks ahead of the 2021 NFL season and Broncos quarterback Drew Lock is not in a favorable spot.
Lock has been ranked dead last in the league when compared to all 32 starters (including three rookie quarterbacks).
Ouch.

PFF believes that Lock will win the starting job over quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, but the competition still won’t move the needle for Lock.
“The reason the Broncos acquired veteran quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to compete with Lock for the starting job is because Lock had the 32nd-ranked passing grade (63.4) out of 36 qualifying quarterbacks,” Bruce Gradkowski wrote. “He must find a way to clean up his 23 turnover-worthy plays and make better decisions.”
The rankings are based on a grading scale, which PFF says taps into multiple years of data to project future performance. They do not just take last season’s performances, but also incorporate the roster surrounding each quarterback and the team’s schedule.
“Lock shows promise at times — he had the eighth-best passing grade (92.3) when throwing between 15-20 yards and executing play-action pass,” Gradkowski wrote. “The leash won’t be long. If given the opportunity, Lock has to play consistently and smart for Fangio to stick with his young quarterback.”
Among the AFC West foes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes still reigns supreme in the NFL coming in first among all other quarterbacks.
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr ranks 13th with Los Angeles Charges quarterback Justin Herbert coming in at 15th.
