Avs goalie Grubauer out of COVID-19 protocol, per report

Just a day after clinching a postseason berth for the fourth straight season, the Colorado Avalanche got some more good news on Friday.

Per 104.3 The Fan Avs Insider Adrian Dater, goaltender Philipp Grubauer is no longer in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol.

It’s unclear when Grubauer, who was listed as testing positive early last week, will be able to return to play, Dater reports.

Forwards Joonas Donskoi and Mikko Rantanen remain in the COVID-19 protocol.
