The days of printing a PDF of your Denver Broncos ticket each week are numbered.
In a release on Thursday, the club announced that it will transition to mobile ticketing starting with the 2018 season.
“The Broncos are committed to utilizing the latest in ticket technology to provide the best experience for our fans,” said Dennis Moore, senior vice president of sales and marketing, via the release. “Broncos fans have used mobile ticketing significantly over the last two seasons with more than 35 percent already accessing their tickets through this method.
“We look forward to all of our ticket holders experiencing the benefits of mobile tickets and will work with our fans to make this a smooth transition.”
Ticketholders will be able to access their tickets through the free Broncos 365 smartphone app, which the team touts will allow for:
- Quick and easy entrance to the stadium,
- Improved control and convenience in managing, transferring, or selling tickets, and
- Reducing the risk of lost, stolen, counterfeit, or forgotten tickets.
Season ticket holders will be directly informed, and the Broncos ticket office will have extended hours for fans who need additional education on the process. Mobile ticketing support staff will also be stationed around the stadium to help fans.
The new policy will go into effect with the Broncos first preseason home game in August.
