The Denver Broncos announced their first true move of the offseason, signing nine former practice squad players to future contracts.
In making this move, the Broncos can keep several non-roster players who they want to keep around for off-season training with the hopes of them cracking the 53.
Those nine are WR Victor Bolden, G Parker Ferguson, CB Faion Hicks, CB Delonte Hood, DB Devon Key, RB Tyreik McAllister, OLB Wyatt Ray, OL Hunter Thedford and LB Ray Wilborn.
Bolden, Hicks, Ray and Wilborn have played NFL minutes while, the three of Hicks, Ray and Wilborn each got into in at least two games for the Broncos this past season.
Kendall Hinton, Quinn Bailey, P.J. Locke, Brett Rypien, Tim Patrick and Shelby Harris have all recently signed a future contract with the Broncos. Denver has done a solid job of finding talent in this area and one of these nine certainly could be impactful for the Broncos in 2023.
The roster expands in the offseason then shrinks back to 53 right after the final preseason game.
