Broncos Country may have just received a huge hint on Von Miller’s future in Denver.
9News Broncos Insider Mike Klis tweeted on Monday that while no decision has been made by the team on his option, Miller may want to move on.
While no decision has been made on whether the Broncos would pick up Von Miller's $7 million option, don't rule out possibility of Von wanting to move on and Broncos wanting to go in another direction. Could make sense for both sides to have amicable split. #9sports

Miller underwent season-ending surgery last September to repair a torn ankle tendon and Klis reported last week that Miller visited Broncos headquarters “saying hello to his teammates, coaches and personnel staff.”
The question now becomes whether Miller will return to the Broncos or is an (amicable) breakup on the horizon?
Miller has one year left on his six-year contract he signed in 2016.
If the Broncos exercise the final option on Miller’s contract, $7 million of his $18 million 2021 salary will become guaranteed.
According to Klis, the Broncos are hoping to restructure Miller’s contract to reduce his $18 million cash payout and $22.225 million cap hit.
Miller could also decide to test free agency.
The Arizona Cardinals just locked in a $14 million per year deal with J.J. Watt. The deal is worth $31 million and includes $23 million guaranteed.
Both Watt and Miller will turn 32 later this month.
The free-agent negotiating window is open and time is ticking.
Will general manager George Paton exercise the $7 million guarantee option and pay out Miller’s one-year, $18 million pay day? Or will Miller become a free agent for the first time in his career?
We will find out soon.
