How do you say goodbye with so much left to discuss? Dan Jacobs’ next-to-last show
With just two shows remaining, including this one, the honorable Judge Dan Jacobs begins a bittersweet farewell to the station. He welcomes the lovely and talented James Merilatt for their next-to-last conversation on The Dan Jacobs Show, with plenty to discuss across Colorado sports.
Dan and James dig into the CU Buffs’ near-win against the Utah Utes and what to take away from a game that came so close to going Colorado’s way. They also share their impressions of the Nuggets’ season opener and discuss why the Broncos’ upcoming matchup against the Arizona Cardinals carries so much importance.
Alongside the sports conversation is the news that Dan is moving on. It’s a positive next step for him, but a sad goodbye for the listeners and colleagues who will miss having him on the station. With one more show to follow, this is a chance to enjoy another conversation with Dan and James before this chapter closes.
What will you miss most about The Dan Jacobs Show—and what message would you like to share with Dan before his final broadcast? Leave your memories and well wishes in the comments, and tell us which Colorado team has the most to prove right now.
