Tom Brady has the Broncos as the new best team in the NFL

NFL legend Tom Brady had an incredible career.

But the one thing he couldn’t do? Win a playoff game in Denver.

Brady came to the Mile High City three times in the postseason with the New England Patriots and left with an “L” each time.

There was the famous Champ Bailey interception in January of 2006, plus losses to Peyton Manning in a pair of AFC Championship Games. Tom Brady did beat the Broncos in the playoffs once in New England, but never in Denver.

And with the Broncos currently the No. 1 seed in the AFC, there’s a real shot the road to the Super Bowl goes through Empower Field at Mile High.

The current FOX analyst is noticing and for the first time all season put Denver at No. 1 in his current NFL power rankings.

“After hovering around it all year, Denver moves up to No. 1,” Tom Brady said. “Sean Payton has this team on an incredible run and it just feels right that the AFC might run through Mile High as temperatures start to drop.”

Anyone currently living in Denver knows the temperatures are abnormally warm right now, but maybe by the middle and end of January we’re due for a frigid game or two.

“Denver, they’re going to lean on that defense, and we’ll see if Bo Nix can find another gear and take this team on a deep run,” Brady concluded.

Nix definitely found that gear against the Packers this past Sunday, tossing four touchdowns and throwing for more than 300 yards. If he plays like that the rest of the way, combined with the defense, the Broncos can absolutely win the Super Bowl.

And when you make a believer out of Tom Brady, you know this red-hot Denver team is firmly on everyone’s radar.
