Six players who make perfect sense for the Broncos on day two of the draft

The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft is in the books, and there were several exciting twists and turns along the way! I like some bold decisions some teams made (New York Jets getting TE Kenyon Sadiq and WR Omar Cooper Jr.), while others left me scratching my head (Los Angeles Rams selecting QB Ty Simpson).

The talent of this draft may be average compared to other classes, but there are still plenty of talented players available entering day two. The Denver Broncos will be on the clock after having no pick in the first round. With the No. 62 overall pick, I think there will be some nice players available that could be stars.

Here is my list of best players available on day two of the draft for the Broncos.

Anthony Hill Jr. | LB | Texas
There are some who thought Hill would go in the first round, and many think he’ll be an early selection in the second round. The athletic coverage backer would be a great player for the team to develop behind Alex Singleton.

Eli Stowers | TE | Vanderbilt
The league has been looking at Stowers as a big-bodied receiver for months because that’s what he is. Stowers is a matchup nightmare for defenders because of his speed and route intelligence. I’d love the Broncos to draft him, but a move up is required.

Chase Bisontis | OG | Texas A&M
I believe the Broncos are going to select an offensive guard at some point in the draft. Bisontis was a player I had mocked in the first round, but he wasn’t selected on Thursday night. His core strength, powerful hands, and starting experience make him the kind of guard every team will covet in the second round.

CJ Allen | ILB | Georgia
If you want to dominate on defense, get your team a Georgia linebacker like Allen. He’s incredibly instinctive and knows how to find the ball. In addition to stuffing the run, Allen can cover and blitz.

Jacob Rodriguez | ILB | Texas Tech
Rodriguez knows how to make plays. He does a good job of “scraping and flowing” to the ball as bigger linemen fight around him. Rodriquez is one of the best tacklers in this class, and I love the way he has a knack for punching out the ball.

Christen Miller | DT | Georgia
The Broncos may select a defensive lineman at some point in this draft. While I do not think it will be in the second round, Miller might be a player they consider. Miller has heavy hands and does a good job getting off the line quickly to be disruptive as a rusher.
