The honors keep rolling in for Broncos Pro Bowl cornerback Pat Surtain II.

And this one comes courtesy of his fellow NFL players.

Surtain was selected as a First-Team All-Pro as voted on by guys around the league. This is the first time this award has been dished out, and is “designed to honor the game’s best players and elite talents,” according to a release from the Broncos. Each current NFL player was allowed one vote.

As you can see, Surtain was joined by Eagles cornerback Darius Slay as the only two at their position to make the team. That means the rest of the NFL sees “PS2” as a top-2 corner in all of football.

The former No. 9 overall pick out of Alabama has started 32 out of 33 games in his Broncos career, registering six interceptions (one TD) and 118 total tackles. He has 24 passes defended and has forced one fumble. Surtain joins Deltha O’Neal as the only Broncos CB to record at least six interceptions and 24 passes defensed in his first two seasons.

Surtain is Denver’s lone Pro Bowl representative in 2022, with safety Justin Simmons slotted in as an alternate.
