Broncos-49ers inactives: Denver goes with six defensive linemen

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Broncos won’t have Dondrea Tillman available, so they will go heavy with defensive linemen for their Week 4 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Denver has six defensive linemen active for the contest, including second-year player Sai’vion Jones, who was scratched last week in favor of Jordan Jackson.

Of the Broncos’ seven defensive linemen, only rookie third-round pick Tyler Onyedim was scratched.

Without Tillman, the Broncos will have only three edge rushers in uniform. They chose not to elevate any of their three practice-squad edge rushers for the game as they went without any practice-squad elevations for the first time this season.

The Broncos’ inactive list is as follows:

• TE Dallen Bentley
• OL Kage Casey
• QB Sam Ehlinger (in uniform as No. 3 QB)
• DL Tyler Onyedim
• Edge rusher Dondrea Tillman

Meanwhile, the 49ers activated both wide receiver Mike Evans and inside linebacker Dre Greenlaw. Both had been listed as questionable.
