Denver Broncos GM George Paton was in a trading mood on Friday night.

Paton made three total trades, including jumping back into Round 3 to take defensive end Sai’vion Jones from the LSU Tigers.

The Broncos did the deal with the Eagles to make it happen, giving up two fourth-round picks and a sixth-round pick in exchange for selection No. 101 overall and a fourth-rounder.

Jones had 11.5 sacks in his career with LSU, including 4.5 in 2024 and eight tackles for loss. Jones is 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, so he’s another big body to add to Denver’s defensive line.

The Broncos added two weapons for Bo Nix on Friday night, then go back to the defensive side of things to wrap up Friday, just like they did in Round 1.

Denver will have two more picks on Saturday, barring any other trades, before the 2025 NFL Draft concludes.
