Aqib Talib hints another big move could be coming for the Broncos

Former Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is still well connected with the team.

Earlier this offseason, Talib basically called the Jaylen Waddle blockbuster trade right before it happened.

Talib told Skip Bayless on their show The Arena: Gridiron that the Broncos would be adding a “new explosive player on offense.” Then just about 24 hours later the Broncos landed Waddle from the Dolphins in exchange for a first-round pick and more.

And now Talib is at it again, saying another huge move from Denver could be coming, this time around the NFL Draft.

“It might be the draft, Skip,” Aqib Talib says with a big smile. “Come on Skip, you still don’t believe me?”

Clearly, Talib is taking a well-earned victory lap after nailing the Waddle situation.

So what could Broncos head coach Sean Payton and GM George Paton potentially have up their sleeves?

That’s anyone’s guess, from trading for a household name at the running back position to moving back into the first-round of the NFL Draft. It doesn’t necessarily have to involve strictly picks, as the draft is usually a catalyst for big moves around the league.

A lot of folks would still like to see Breece Hall wind up in Denver after the Jets franchise tagged the running back to keep him from testing the free agent waters. According to multiple reports, New York feared Hall would end up with the Broncos.

That’s just one name to toss out there. Who knows what else could be brewing, along with the fact maybe Payton and Paton will need to move up the board to select a prospect they really like.

Regardless, based on his recent track record, Aqib Talib should definitely be taken seriously. We’ll see if he ends up going 2-2 on bold predictions this offseason.
