Jake has spent over a decade in Colorado media, beginning in high school covering prep sports. Reporting for the Associated Press, the Denver Post, from being on the Colorado Rockies beat to editing the premier Colorado Rapids blog, Burgundy Wave, Shap has gotten around town. When not writing, Jake has also been a podcast host, radio voice and play-by-play announcer, VP of Media for the Boulder Collegians and a board member for North Boulder Little League.
