Broncos elevate Fraboni, Prentice from practice squad for second-straight week

For the second-consecutive week, the Broncos elevated long snapper Mitchell Fraboni and fullback Adam Prentice from the practice squad.

These moves come as no surprise, as they’ve been planned since the Broncos released the two vested veterans and then re-signed them to the practice squad.

Players can be elevated from the practice squad three times in a season, which means the Broncos could make the same pair of moves next week prior to playing the Los Angeles Rams, but then would need to move Fraboni and Prentice up to the 53-player roster in order to utilize them after that.

Given that they are the only two players on the entire Broncos roster — including practice squad — at their respective positions, that seems to be a virtual certainty. One or both could also find themselves promoted to the 53-player roster next week if a spot opens up for injury or another reason.
