Broncos elevate Fraboni, Prentice for Monday night game with Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As expected, the Broncos elevated long snapper Mitchell Fraboni and fullback Adam Prentice from their practice squad in advance of Monday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

This has been the plan for the veterans since the Broncos released them Aug. 30 and then re-signed them to the practice squad one day later.

This is the third-consecutive year in which Broncos coach Sean Payton has used a practice-squad elevation on a fullback to open the season. Prentice was elevated for the first three games of 2025; Michael Burton received an elevation for the first game of the 2024 campaign before being moved to the 53-player roster immediately thereafter.

While the Broncos don’t always activate their practice-squad elevations, it is a virtual certainty that Fraboni and Prentice will be in uniform Monday night, as the club doesn’t have any other players at their listed positions.
