Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix is back.

And it looks like he didn’t miss a beat.

Nix made his much anticipated return to an NFL game on Friday night at Empower Field at Mile High. The last time he suited up, Nix broke his ankle against the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs and had two offseason surgeries.

So, even though it was a preseason tilt against the Packers, Broncos Country was thrilled to see Nix back in action.

Not only did he exit the game healthy, but Nix led two scoring drives, throwing a touchdown on the first one and moving the football into field goal range for Wil Lutz on the second.

And there were two big highlights from Bo Nix.

He hooked up with Jaylen Waddle for a 35-yard completion, a new toy after a huge offseason trade with the Dolphins.

Then, Nix threw a beautiful pass to RJ Harvey for a 21-yard touchdown. It tied the game 7-7 after the Packers No. 1 offense scored on its opening possession.

Nix called it a night after his second series helped put Denver up 10-7, replaced by backup QB Jarrett Stidham. Overall, Nix finished 6-9 for 76 yards and the touchdown.

Two things were accomplished for Nix in his return to action.

One, he showed no signs of being bothered by the ankle and left the contest perfectly fine. And two, he played some darn good football.

Both of those things are wins for Bo Nix and the Broncos.
