Izzy Nix, wife of Broncos QB Bo Nix, shares message and photo of her husband

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix is done for the season.

By now, the whole world seemingly knows what happened on Saturday against the Buffalo Bills.

Nix fractured his ankle in a dramatic divisional round OT win and is done for the year. No one even knew it happened until Broncos head coach Sean Payton came back to the podium for a second press conference to announce the news.

But, behind the scenes, Nix was getting an X-ray that revealed the break. And while Payton shared some details of how it went down, we’re getting more from Nix’s wife Izzy who posted on Instagram on Monday morning.

It’s a message of hope and faith from Izzy, one that Broncos Country will love to see. For as devastated as the fanbase is, think about Bo Nix and his family. They have to be taking the news harder than anyone.

Nix was two wins away from a Super Bowl title. The Broncos can still get one, but their starting QB will have to watch like the rest of us.

Here’s hoping that the Denver defense and Jarrett Stidham can finish the job for Bo Nix. Even though he’s done for the year, that post from Izzy shows us a glimpse into the resiliency of the Nix family.
