Former Broncos TE Greg Dulcich getting another shot in the NFL

Former Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich is hanging around in the NFL.

And he could be on the field as soon as this weekend for the Dolphins.

Dulcich, who was cut by the Broncos in November of last year, is getting promoted to Miami’s 53-man roster after they put tight end Darren Waller on injured reserve.

Greg Dulcich played in five games with the New York Giants in 2024 after being released by Denver, but didn’t record a catch. He landed on the Dolphins practice squad after getting waived by the Giants in late this summer. Now, the Miami coaching staff has apparently seen enough to give him a chance on Sundays.

Dulcich could never find his footing in Denver, playing in just 16 games with the Broncos. He was a healthy scratch eight times and missed 22 games due to injury. It was usually a hamstring that bothered Dulcich.

Even though he was healthy last year, Dulcich didn’t play much for the Broncos in 2024. He had just five catches for 28 yards and a handful of drops.

For his career in Denver, Greg Dulcich finished with 41 catches for 464 yards and two touchdowns over three seasons. GM George Paton spent a third-round pick on him in the 2022 NFL Draft, but it never worked out.

Now, he’ll play for a bad Miami team and try to put some good things on film to remain in the NFL the rest of this season and beyond.
