The Audric Estime era with the Denver Broncos is officially over.
Two days after he was cut by the team, Estime is leaving town to sign onto the practice squad of the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
It’s a fresh start for the 2024 fifth-round pick, and the Broncos will move forward with a running back room of J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie. All four players made Denver’s initial 53-man roster.

Audric Estime rushed for only 310 yards last season as a rookie. The former Notre Dame star did that on 76 carries, while also scoring two touchdowns. Estime had a pair of fumbles and was a surprising inactive against the Bills in the playoffs. Head coach Sean Payton decided to give Badie a jersey instead of Estime in Buffalo.
Last Saturday in New Orleans, Estime put out some good tape. He had eight carries for 45 yards and a touchdown. It didn’t get him claimed on waivers, but the Eagles like the 21-year-old enough to give him a shot on their practice squad.
Things never clicked with Audric Estime and the Broncos, but you can bet fans will keep an eye on his career in Philadelphia.
Especially if he eventually sees the field for one reason or another, running the rock for perhaps the most exciting offense in the NFL.
