The Denver Broncos will be keeping Courtland Sutton for the long run as the two agreed to a five-year, $106 million deal on Monday.
While there are a few Broncos that entered training camp with questions about their contracts, Sutton is the first to get sorted. Still, the two teammates left working on new deals, plus star quarterback Bo Nix, were pumped for one of the longest-tenured Broncos.
Nix was told of the news by NFL reporter Dianna Russini just before jumping on her podcast.

“He sets an example… does a great job off the field, he’s so consistent,” Nix said on the show.
We took a mid-interview detour to ask @BoNix10 about his relationship with @SuttonCourtland.
"You just know what you're going to get out of him every year, he's so consistent."

Meanwhile, both Nik Bonitto and Zach Allen are looking for more money on the other side of the ball. They were among the first to take to social media and post their excitement for Sutton.

“Like any player, he’s dealt with some injuries. There are certain years, his 2019 film was outstanding, his film last year, finding that right weight and balance,” Sean Payton said earlier on Monday. “One of the things that he does well, certainly, he’s a strong target. He’s smart. He’s one of our leaders on this team. So there are a lot of things that he brings to the table.”
