It was a scary scene at Empower Field on Sunday afternoon. Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater laid motionless on the field for quite some time, as the team’s training staff frantically attended to him.
After being carted off the field, the QB was taken to a local hospital. There, he was kept overnight for observation.
On Monday, the team announced that Bridgewater had been released from the hospital and was feeling fine. His future, however, remains in doubt.
#Broncos Teddy Bridgewater was released from hospital and is feeling better. That’s great news. But he’s unlikely to start Sunday meaning Drew Lock has to play better than he has in relief. #Denver7 pic.twitter.com/JDVFBGVn3C
