The Broncos escaped the Eagles game relatively unscathed with injuries

While the final score wasn’t what they had in mind, losing 30-13 to the Eagles, Sunday wasn’t a total loss for the Broncos. For the first time in weeks, they escaped a game without major injuries.
“As far as the injuries, (Baron) Browning’s back acted up again in pregame,” Vic Fangio said on Monday when asked for an injury report. “He gave it a go and only could go a few plays. Other than that, there are no major injuries to report coming out of the game.”
That’s clearly good news, as the Broncos are slowly but surely starting to get healthy. Pat Surtain was able to play against Philadelphia, despite hurting his knee the week before. Noah Fant was back on the field after missing the Cowboys game due to COVID-19 protocols. And Drew Lock is expected to return to the team this week after his battle with COVID.
As for other players, it’s still up in the air. Fangio won’t know more until the Broncos get through their bye week.
“I’m not sure yet,” the head coach said when asked the status of Garett Bolles, Bradley Chubb and Bobby Massie. “I think all of them are a little different on the timetable. I don’t think I can give you a concrete answer on either one of the three yet.”
On a day filled with gloom, the Broncos received a sliver of good news.
