Things did not go well for the Denver Nuggets against the Warriors in Game 2 of their playoff series.
After taking a 12-point second quarter lead, it was all Golden State from that point on.
But the biggest story might have been TNT cameras capturing Nuggets teammates Will Barton and DeMarcus Cousins getting into an altercation during a timeout. Here’s the video:

The TNT announcing crew said the exchange went on for a good “45 seconds.” A second camera angle showed Jeff Green involved as well, talking with Barton.

It’s unclear what sparked the heated confrontation, but the Nuggets’ meltdown surely had something to do with it. We’ll update this with more info if it comes out during the postgame press conferences.
(Update 11:13 p.m.) –Â
After Denver’s 126-106 loss, head coach Michael Malone addressed the spat between Barton and Cousins.
Malone said he hopes the team gets on the plane “together” and added “I think it’s just frustration.”
“No one wants to get embarrassed. No one wants to get their (butt) kicked on national TV,” Malone said. He finished by saying the Nuggets “have to iron it out.”
Denver now trails the series 2-0 with Game 3 on Thursday night at Ball Arena.
