The Denver Broncos’ home at Empower Field at Mile High has been ranked below average in USA Today’s NFL stadium power rankings.

While all of Broncos Country understands the traditions and tailgating that go into a home game, Empower Field came in at No. 21 out of all NFL stadiums.
“Opened in 2001, the venue replaces an historic stadium in Mile High Stadium. Empower Field does contain some of the old traditions, such as the rocking bleachers and fans yelling “in-com-plete” after every unsuccessful opponent pass,” Mark Lane wrote. “The altitude does make it an awful place to see late-season games though.”
Thankfully fans will be welcomed back into all stadiums after the bleak 2020 season.
Anyone who has experienced a Broncos game day knows there is nothing better than the roar of the 76,000 fans and the unique experiences you get at 5,280 feet above sea level.
Also, you really can’t beat the view with those Rocky Mountains on the horizon!
