In the first hour of The Drive with DMac, Tyler Polumbus and Nick Ferguson took a look at recent NFL Mock Drafts and the guys discussed how realistic it is for the Denver Broncos to draft a quarterback in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Last night the NFL released the roster for the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl and DMac, Polumbus and Ferguson debated on if any Broncos play makers were snubbed. The Detroit Lions are coming to Denver to play the Broncos this weekend and the guys talked about Kyle Sloter’s return to the Mile High City and expectations on his homecoming.
In the second hour of The Drive, DMac with Nick Ferguson and Tyler Polumbus dove into Drew Lock’s words from today’s Denver Broncos press conference and the guys talked about his definition of a “gun slinger.” Polumbus heard some rumors about the possibility of Von Miller being traded and how it is so unrealistic. Ownership and the front office for the Denver Broncos is getting more complex and the guys dove into the accusations. Head coach of the Colorado University Buffaloes football program, Mel Tucker joined The Drive and talked about national signing day and the future of the Buffs will look for the future. Tucker also talked about getting the number one recruit to transfer from Alabama to Colorado. Wrapping up the second hour of The Drive, DMac with Ferguson talked to Denver 7’s, our Fan Broncos Insider discussed Courtland Sutton’s harsh words about not reaching the Pro Bowl. Renck also talked about the breaking news that Tom Coughlin being relieved of his duties in Jacksonville for the Jaguars.
In the third hour of The Drive with DMac and Nick Ferguson, they previewed the Denver Broncos home game against the Detroit Lions this Sunday. Ferguson shared the playmakers for the Lions that the Broncos need to keep an extra eye out for and shared his keys for the Broncos to get a win.
In the fourth hour, DMac, Tyler and Nick discussed Courtland Sutton’s response to not being selected to the 2020 Pro Bowl. DMac says the Broncos are going to have a tough decision to make when it comes to their first round draft selection. Did Phillip Lindsay throw Rich Scangarello under the bus with his comments today?
