In the first hour, DMac and Tom go through the big story of the day – another Broncos loss. Denver has still yet to record any sacks or takeaways. Emmanuel Sanders didn’t see a ton of action and Derek Wolfe has a high ankle sprain. During THE Countdown, the guys discuss Wolfe, the production from the defense and Garrett Bolles. Who are the Milk Carton Kids after the loss to the Packers on Sunday?
In the second hour, it’s Football at Four! Where is this Broncos team headed? The team now sits at 0-3, but what realistic changes can be made at this point? Troy Renck joins The Drive to discuss the loss to the Packers and how the vibe is with the media. A few Broncos were injured during the game, where do the guys see Wolfe going after a high ankle injury? Who is more at fault with the team’s struggles thus far? The guys review their prop bets and discuss the highlights and lowlights from the game. Do the Broncos have the players to win right now?
In the third hour, John Elway is taking more het this past season than he probably has during his entire tenure as an executive. Does this all fall back on Elway? It’s time to go through the Big, the Bad and The Ugly. Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman had almost 150 rushing yards between them on 36 carries. The Bad and The Ugly are split between the offensive turnovers and Derek Wolfe’s ankle injury.
In the fourth hour, the guys go through the Top Six! The Broncos have no sacks or takeaways, Garett Bolles did not get called for holding and Emmanuel Sanders is still not getting any action. DMac and Tom say that the team needs to embrace the ‘world of suck’. The guys discuss the game on Sunday and their thoughts on what happened. There was a contest for listeners to make a parody song! The Drive plays the best ones and react.
