Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter made most licensing income in entire NFL

Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter were superstars at the University of Colorado.

And the brands they built in Boulder have followed them to the NFL.

Front Office Sports got its hands on the data involving which professional players made the most licensing income during the 2025 season.

Sanders and Hunter topped the list among all NFL players, including the likes of superstars Patrick Mahomes and Saquon Barkley.

The top five NFL players who earned the most licensing income from the 2025 NFL season:

2. Travis Hunter, $12.8M
3. Patrick Mahomes, $8M

$17.7 million is a staggering amount of money for Shedeur Sanders to earn, considering his total NFL salary last season with the Cleveland Browns was about $955,000. And Travis Hunter raked in another $12.8 million on top of his roughly $8.5 million salary. Hunter was the 2025 No. 2 overall pick of the Jaguars while Sanders had an epic draft slide.

Regardless, this shows that Sanders and Hunter are mega-stars even if their production and potential at the pro level hasn’t been reached yet.

Front Office Sports secured the data by looking at the NFLPA report filed this week with the Department of Labor.

And Shedeur Sanders shattered the No. 1 licensing earner from the season before, Vikings rookie QB J.J. McCarthy who made $4 million. He also broke Tom Brady’s record $9.5 million in 2021 for the most earned ever in group licensing income. That’s incredible company to keep.
