Shedeur Sanders received another speeding ticket earlier in June

Shedeur Sanders, the former CU Buffs QB and current member of the Cleveland Browns, isn’t having a good month on the roads.

One day after it was reported that Sanders received a speeding ticket for driving 101 MPH in a 60 MPH zone, news of a second ticket earlier in June also emerged.

According to Cleveland.com, Shedeur Sanders was cited for driving 91 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on June 5. That resulted in $249 worth of penalties, but Sanders didn’t show up in court on June 16. He was then clocked going 41 MPH over the limit at 12:24 a.m. the next day.

“He is taking care of the tickets,” a Browns spokesperson told Cleveland.com.

For Sanders, who’s in a battle not only to make the Cleveland roster but potentially even be the starting QB, this isn’t a great look. One speeding ticket happens, two in a span of fewer than two weeks is a pattern.

Shedeur Sanders was great for the Browns during OTAs and mini-camp, but he needs to figure out how to slow down behind the wheel.

If not, this is a problem the franchise probably doesn’t feel like dealing with for much longer. Especially if training camp and the preseason don’t look as crisp on the field.
