Denver Broncos cornerback Riley Moss might only miss one full game after all.

Moss sat out last week’s contest with the Chargers, battling a rib injury he aggravated the Sunday before against the 49ers.

But Moss was spotted on the practice field earlier this week and the Broncos have now dropped their final injury report for Thursday night’s showdown with the defending champion Seahawks.

The good news is Riley Moss is officially listed as questionable after being a limited participant in practice. Denver’s inactives are due 90 minutes before kickoff with Seattle, so we’ll know late tomorrow afternoon if he’s suiting up.

The bad news is both star cornerback Pat Surtain II and stud safety Talanoa Hufanga are out with ankle injuries.

This will be Surtain’s second consecutive game missed after he was hurt against San Francisco, but luckily he didn’t land on short-term injured reserve. He might have a shot to suit up against the Cardinals the following Sunday.

In Hufanga’s case, the news isn’t as positive. An ESPN report on Wednesday morning estimated he’ll be out for two to three weeks.

Obviously, Denver’s secondary will be challenged by the Seahawks. Riley Moss will likely be tasked with attempting to contain Jaxon Smith-Njigba, arguably the No. 1 receiver in the NFL. That is, if Moss plays.

If not the responsibility will fall to former first-round pick Jahdae Barron along with Denver cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine.

Both played well in L.A. with Surtain and Moss sitting out and the Broncos will need a repeat effort as they look to move to 4-2 on the season.
