Latavius Murray earned this week’s Smashburger “Smashed It” Play of the Week for his touchdown against the Jaguars on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London.
With the Broncos losing 17-14 late in the fourth quarter, Murray took a handoff from QB Russell Wilson and plowed his way up the middle for a Denver touchdown. It gave the Broncos a 21-17 lead, which would ultimately be the final score of the game. A K’Waun Williams interception of Trevor Lawrence sealed the victory.
Murray wins the award for a second week in a row, as he also scored the team’s only touchdown the previous game against the Jets. With the Broncos backfield severely banged up, he’ll be a big part of the rushing attack the rest of the season.
