Latavius Murray wins Smashburger’s “Smashed It” Play of the Week

Latavius Murray earned this week’s Smashburger “Smashed It” Play of the Week for his touchdown against the Jets on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High.
With the Broncos losing 7-0 late in the first quarter, Murray took a handoff from backup QB Brett Rypien, found a hole on the left side and walked into the end zone. Unfortunately, Denver kicker Brandon McManus missed the extra point and the score held at 7-6. Denver would go on to lose 16-9.
Murray has been a nice addition to the Denver backfield after being claimed off the New Orleans practice squad earlier in the season. It was his first score in the orange and blue.
