Running back Josh Jacobs is a perfect 8-0 in his career against the Denver Broncos.
All that damage came with the Raiders, first in Oakland then in Las Vegas, spanning from the 2019-2023 NFL seasons.
Now, Jacobs is in Green Bay, regarded as one of the better running backs in the league. On the season for the Packers, Jacobs has 817 rushing yards which is 15th in the NFL. However, his 12 rushing touchdowns are third amongst running backs, trailing only Jonathan Taylor (16) and Jahmyr Gibbs (13).
Jacobs has missed one game this season, but has a knee injury worth monitoring before Packers and Broncos on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High. Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur provided a vague update on Thursday.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said RB Josh Jacobs (knee) likely will miss his second straight day of practice, and they will see where he’s at tomorrow.

Josh Jacobs officially didn’t practice on Wednesday and it sounds like its trending that direction again. This late in the season, a veteran missing the first day of practice in a week isn’t that big of a deal. However, if he misses another, then it’s worth paying attention to.
In eight career games against the Broncos, Jacobs has gone for 769 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. As mentioned, his record is perfect when he faces Denver.
The final injury report won’t be out until Friday afternoon, but this one needs to be watched. If the Packers don’t have Josh Jacobs available this weekend, that’s a huge break for the Broncos.
