Moss, who did not play against the Los Angeles Chargers last month after aggravating a rib injury initially suffered in the Broncos’ second preseason game, suffered his concussion as he tackled Carolina running back Trevor Etienne with 5:44 left in the second quarter.

Without Moss, Jahdae Barron stepped back into every-down use. The Broncos went into the game without fellow cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine, who did not practice all week. Carolina quarterback Bryce Young targeted Barron for completions on multiple occasions during the third quarter.
