ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga, who has not participated in practice since suffering an ankle injury last month, was on the field with teammates and participating as the team began practice Thursday afternoon in the shadow of ongoing demolition work of their old headquarters building.
Hufanga left the Oct. 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers after injuring his ankle and has missed the last three contests, with Taylor Rapp and Devon Key handling most of the work in his place.
While Hufanga practiced Thursday, fellow safety Brandon Jones did not, missing the session for a second-consecutive day due to a hamstring injury. Also not practicing was defensive lineman Enyi Uwazurike and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine, who are dealing with ankle and shoulder injuries, respectively.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Pat Bryant saw a full workload for the second-consecutive day as he goes through his on-ramp period before being activated from injured reserve. Bryant missed the last four games because of an ankle injury.
The team will practice Friday at Broncos Park Powered By CommonSpirit before flying to Charlotte, N.C. after the session in order to get further acclimated to the Eastern Time Zone for the 1 p.m. EST kickoff time Sunday against the Panthers.
