SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Broncos’ flood of injuries in Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers continued when wide receiver Pat Bryant left with a right-leg injury.
Bryant was carted off the field after being tackled by a trio of San Francisco 49ers defenders. Bryant’s right leg twisted awkwardly as he fell to the ground on a 30-yard catch-and-run that moved Denver out of a third-and-6 and to the Denver 49-yard line.
The second-year wide receiver was examined on the field and then moved to a cart as Broncos teammates gathered around him to offer their support. Bryant was then taken back up the tunnel at the south end of Levi’s Stadium for further examination.
Bryant’s injury came while running back Tyler Badie was in the pop-up blue medical tent after being injured on the preceding kickoff. Badie was later seen jogging up and down the sideline.
The Broncos had already lost cornerbacks Pat Surtain II and Riley Moss to ankle and rib injuries, respectively.
