Bo Nix delivers excellent zinger about Packers being favored over Broncos

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix is sneaky funny.

If you watch all his press conference, every once in a while Nix will deliver a zinger that answers the question perfectly.

That was the case on Wednesday, when the Broncos quarterback was asked about Denver being underdogs this Sunday to the Green Bay Packers.

Head coach Sean Payton brushed it off, while Bo Nix made every reporter chuckle with his response.

“I don’t really care. My mom thinks we’ll win, so that’s all that matters,” Nix said with a smile.

It’s a perfect answer from Nix. He’s not worried about oddsmakers or wagers, he’s worried about trying to extend Denver’s winning streak to 11 games and move their record to 12-2 on the season.

Nix also spoke on what should be a raucous crowd at Empower Field at Mile High, with the No. 1 CBS crew in town calling the game and most of the nation getting to watch.

“Love it. I think the atmosphere is going to be electric. I think our fans are going to be extremely motivated and, you know, very hostile. Probably going to be similar to the Chiefs game a few weeks ago. This will be what seems to be a playoff game,” Bo Nix said.

It could be a Super Bowl preview, with the 9-3-1 Packers one of the favorites in the NFC. The Broncos have a ton to play for, as they could officially clinch a playoff berth and still continue to pursue the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

“I know it’s going to be a really good football game. It’s pretty much going to be like playoff football and that’s what you get in December, the end of the season, and that’s what you’re playing for. We’re extremely excited about it,” Nix said.

Broncos Country is extremely excited as well. And when it’s over late Sunday night, they hope Bo Nix and his mom are right about the eventual winner.
