Pro Football Focus marks Kyle Fuller as the best signing so far this offseason, with the addition of Ronald Darby creating a dangerous cornerback room.
“The Denver Broncos haven’t made many moves this offseason, but they’ve been smart and targeted, regardless,” PFF wrote. “That pair completely remakes the cornerback group in the space of a few days of business.”
The Broncos also prioritized bringing back key veterans including Justin Simmons and Shelby Harris.
Harris is characterized as “one of the NFL’s most underrated interior defenders.”
Bringing back Simmons on a new long-term contract, one that makes him the highest-paid safety in the league, ensures Vic Fangio has the keys on defense to win.
Only two other teams were given an “excellent grade” by Pro Football Focus: The Washington Football Team and the Cleveland Browns.
