SALT LAKE CITY — The Colorado Buffaloes are back in action this week to take on the Utah Utes in the 72nd edition of the Rumble in the Rockies. The Buffs are coming off bye week after they took down a ranked Iowa State team two weeks ago, and are looking to carry the momentum from that big win into a hostile environment in Utah.

The Utes have started the season 5-2, and have bounced in and out of the AP Poll. Even though they aren’t ranked this week, they are technically No. 27 in the rankings after they received 40 votes in this week’s poll following a tight loss against crosstown rival BYU.

Here’s everything you need to know for Saturday’s clash, including the TV schedule, odds, injuries, and what to watch for.

HOW TO WATCH COLORADO VS. UTAH

Saturday’s contest is set to kick off from Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, at 8:15 p.m. MDT and will be televised on ESPN. Roy Philpott, Brock Osweiler and Stormy Buonantony will be on the call.

The Buffs have another laundry list of names on the injury report, many of whom are likely redshirts for this season. Notable names who are out include DeKalon Taylor, Simeon Price, Yahya Attia, and Samuel Okunlola. Cornerback RJ Johnson is listed as questionable, as he is attempting to come back from an injury that has sidelined him for weeks

Utah
The Utes only have three players on the injury report, all listed as questionable. Quarterback Devon Dampier is the name to watch, as he’s one of the most talented players in Utah’s program.

COLORADO VS. UTAH SERIES HISTORY

The Buffs trail the all-time series 33-35-1, but won the last game these programs played against each other a season ago when the Buffs won 49-24 at Folsom Field. On the road, Colorado has just a 15-20-2 record, with the last win coming in 2011 by a score of 17-14. These teams have squared off against each other every single year since 2011, the first year that Colorado joined the Pac-12, and played almost every single year from 1903-1961 (no game in 1959 and 1960).
