Six Avalanche games rescheduled in latest NHL update

Six Colorado Avalanche games have been rescheduled as part of the NHL’s latest update Tuesday to its regular season calendar.

The half-dozen games include several make-ups from earlier this month when the Avs were benched from Feb. 4-11 due to the league’s COVID-19 protocols.

Colorado had been set to play Minnesota on Feb. 4 until several Wild players and two Avalanche players — including captain Gabe Landeskog — were forced to enter the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol.

One game from that stretch — Avs-Blues originally scheduled for Feb. 7 — has yet to be rescheduled.

Here are the changes:

» Minnesota at Colorado (originally Feb. 4) – Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. MT

» Colorado at Arizona (originally Feb. 25) – Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. MT

» Anaheim at Colorado (originally March 31) – March 16 at 7 p.m. MT

» Arizona at Colorado (originally Feb. 9) – March 31 at 7:30 p.m. MT

» Arizona at Colorado (originally Feb. 11) – April 12 at 7 p.m. MT

» Colorado at St. Louis (originally Feb. 6) – April 14 at 7 p.m. MT
