3PM – D-Mac and Charles Johnson kick off the show talking about the approach of opening day, and preview the Rockies’ upcoming season. They talk about Roger Goodell saying that he would let his son play football if he had a son. They talk about the spread of information about the dangers of football and why there is a increasing number of parents who do not want there kids to play football. D-Mac starts the Big Three at 3:30 talking about D’Angelo Russell and how he ruined his teammates’ ability to trust him. C.J. asks how many games the Rockies will win this season. D-Mac brings up the Texans’ resigning of Brandon Weeden, and asks if Brian Hoyer is a good option at QB for the Broncos. C.J. talks about Andre Iguodala’s April Fool’s day prank. The guys are joined by Trevor Story, new starting SS of the Colorado Rockies, they ask about how he reacted to being named the starter. They ask about the pressures facing the team going into the season. They ask him about the differences between playing in the minors and being in the majors. 4PM – The second hour opens with D-Mac talking about one of the interesting characters of his school years. They talk about hour terrible the QB play for the Broncos was last season, breaking down the stats in comparison to the rest of the league. They discuss how the Broncos are proud of how much they were able to accomplish with sub-par QB play. D-Mac points out that Josh McCown’s stats blow away the Broncos QBs’ stats. They discuss the importance of stats versus the importance of wins. C.J. claims that Peyton Manning was better in the playoffs than any other potential QB for the Broncos next year could be. They talk about how the Colorado Avalanche can still make the playoffs, even if they lose tonight against the Capitals. They talk about Colin Kaepernick’s stats early in his career, and D-Mac points out that Kaepernick has seen a decrease in production every year since then. He claims that running QBs like Kaepernick have been figured out, and that he will struggle to find his former success because of that.

5PM – The guys come into the final hour of the show talking about Syracuse in the final four. D-Mac says that there is a difference between cheating and rule breaking. C.J. calls Syracuse the armpit of college basketball in terms of integrity. D-Mac talks about how the Broncos defense was never worried about stopping the Panther’s offense in the Superbowl. D-Mac says that the emphasis going forward will be to improve the offensive line and building a solid running game, pointing out that the line is already far improved. D-Mac talks about Bill Parcells’ rules for drafting a QB, pointing out how well Kevin Hogan from Standford fits into those guidelines. He makes the case for the Broncos to target him in the middle rounds of the draft. They talk about Joel Dreessen’s experience in the Superbowl in 2013, and reflect on just how difficult it is to make it to the NFL and play in a Superbowl. The guys wrap things up getting pumped up for the Avs’ game against the Capitals. They lay out how this might be the perfect set up for the Avs to steal a win, and C.J. converts D-Mac into a Red Wings’ fan.
